History of the painting:

Mixed techniques: play of materials (acrylic paint and fabric), techniques and colors and fan made with real lace.

The fan was already in use in ancient Egypt. Representations depict pharaohs fanning themselves with a palm leaf, which is the origin of the fan. "El abanico" often depicts the veiled-unveiled and has become a communication code in Spain (which can be seen in the painting with the flamboyant colors of the Iberian flag), especially in the field of seduction.

The red and yellow colors, like the Spanish flag, shine in this work, while giving off an undeniable feeling of warmth and joie de vivre.
