This painting is a tribute to the great master Pablo Picasso. I greatly admire his innovative and revolutionary style in the history of painting.

Figures from his famous painting Guernica also appear in my work; but these were realized in my painting as bearers of hope along with Picasso's famous dove.

Why Guernica? I was lucky enough one day to admire it at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid. It was an emotional and aesthetic shock at the grandeur of this monumental, deeply committed work, a testament to a troubled period on the Iberian Peninsula.
