Dali's Lobster

Modern portrait of Salvador Dalí

Pop, ironic, and resolutely quirky, this portrait revisits Salvador Dalí.
The artist plays with the codes of surrealism and Pop Art: vibrant colors, typographic collage, visual humor.
The famous “lobster telephone” becomes a vibrant wink here between art and mockery: “Hello? Surreal me!”

Between the black and white of the face and the splashes of red and yellow of the lobster, the canvas questions our relationship to the artist’s image, to creative madness, and to that blurry line between genius and eccentricity.
A work that is both a tribute and a manifesto, celebrating the freedom to invent one’s own visual language.
