Where does his artist name Artedelph come from?

Passionate about the Hispanic world and Iberian culture, she pursued language studies

Foreign literature and civilizations. She made it her profession and taught Castilian for many years. That's why it was important for her that her passion also continue as an artist, simply introducing the word "art," "arte" in Spanish, into her stage name.

It was therefore only natural that she began to admire the great Spanish masters such as Dali, Miro, and Picasso. She appreciates their ability to constantly innovate in the artistic field.

How did she come to painting?

Coming from a family of artists, she was immersed in the artistic field for a long time, without being able to create anything.

Since she was a child, she has felt a great admiration and wonder for all those people capable of expressing themselves and putting so much beauty on canvas or paper. She also loved to escape through literature, using her imagination to travel and escape from reality.

His mother also often took him to museums or exhibitions.

She particularly loved all innovative artists and authors, "those who stood out from the crowd" by going beyond established boundaries.

When did she pick up her first paintbrushes?

10 years ago, she had a car accident and a few days later, she experienced the loss of one of her loved ones, who symbolized all the Paradise of her childhood ... as for the accident, it was one of the triggers of a chronic and autoimmune disease from which she began to suffer from that moment. During the period of mourning, her first reaction was to write down her pain and sadness on a piece of paper, just by stringing together words. But that was not strong enough, she was boiling inside and could no longer control herself ...

From one day to the next, she imagined herself going to buy brushes and paints (although she had never used them before), to spit out everything that inflamed her inside. Surprisingly, her hand began to create movements, shapes and colors on the immaculate white paper and it was the beginning of a great passion. ... Gradually imprisoned in a body that could no longer move forward and function because of her illness, her desire to paint quickly transformed into a vital necessity.

How was it formed?

An eternal optimist no matter what, her works always celebrate the present moment through creative and liberating movement.

And little by little, thanks to new technologies, she began to learn and progress without even having to travel. Abstract art seemed obvious to her, and the richest and most liberating way to express herself.

She therefore learned to tame materials, mediums, colors and to explore different techniques which allowed her to construct her universe.

What about today?

As the years passed, she began to be recognized as an artist in her own right by other colleagues and professionals, and to be exhibited in group and individual exhibitions, galleries and art fairs.

In short, what does painting represent for her?

The creative gesture allows us to show that despite the weakness or disarray in which we may find ourselves one day, we are all capable of transforming them and sublimating them with a creative force and energy which has the power to overcome the darkest moments of our history...

WHERE DID the artist name originate from?

Why did she star to paint?

Coming from a family of artists, she was surrounded by art and culture from a young age, although she was unable to create anything herself.

As a child, she was immensely impressed and in awe of those able to express themselves, putting to paper or canvas such beauty. She liked to escape from the real world through reading, which called on her imagination to travel and forget about reality. 75 words

When did she first use a paint brush?

10 years ago; following a car accident and the loss of someone very close, who represented paradise to her as a child …as for the accident, it triggered a chronic autoimmune illness which she has suffered from ever since. Her first reaction as she grieved was to express her pain and sadness by writing words on paper. But it was insufficient to compensate her boiling up inside and the loss in control of her emotions.…

Overnight, to evacuate the burning inside, she saw herself buying paint brushes and paint, although she had never painted previously. Surprisingly, her hands conjured up movements, shapes and colors on the pristine white canvas and it was the beginning of a great passion.... Gradually, as prisoner to a body that no longer moved or functioned correctly due to illness, the desire to paint rapidly transformed into a vital necessity.

How did she learn?

 As an eternal optimist in all circumstances, her work celebrates the present moment with creative and liberating movements.

Little by little, thanks to new technology she learned more and more, progressing her skills and artwork without having to travel. Abstract art was obvious to her as the richest and most liberating manner to express oneself. She learned how to master different materials, methods, and colors and explored various techniques thus creating her own universe.

And today?

 As the years have gone by, she has started to be recognized as a fully-fledged artist by peers and by the profession, with her paintings displayed in solo and group exhibitions, galleries and art shows.

In brief, what does painting mean to her as a person?

 Thanks to a creative passion, despite weakness or distress at some point in our lives, we are all able to convert and beautify them with strength and energy, and thus overcome and tackle the darkest moment of our lives.
