We must not forget that Art is a wonderful tool for transmission and awareness, regardless of the field in which it is practiced.
It also boosts self-esteem.
By creating a work of art,
we open ourselves to our emotions,
we explore our skills without the pressure of performance.
Artistic creation improves well-being by decreasing negative emotions and increasing positive ones.
"Art can be beneficial for health, both physical and mental" is one of the main conclusions of a new report by the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office.
The latter has identified that the arts play a major role in the prevention of health issues,
in health promotion,
in its management and
in the treatment of diseases throughout life.
It allows for complementing traditional medical treatments and improving patients' conditions.
It was therefore quite natural that we wished to participate in the Wellness Fair organized in Givors this October 7th in the Georges Brassens hall and the "Health Culture" day on October 12th in the afternoon in the Maison du Fleuve park.
